  Personal and Moral Development

Students are made aware of the social needs in our community and challenged to act responsible. They are taught to be role models for each other in the use of courtesy, consideration, and kindness in dealing with one another. Our sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students are given opportunities to develop leadership through their activities with younger students. Eighth grade students are given many opportunities for service in the community to instill in them a life long attitude of service to others.

    Physical Development

Physical education classes are offered to all students at Saint John's from Preschool through eighth grade. The children are encouraged to participate in activities that will challenge their own physical capabilities as well as compete as teams against each other. Each year a track meet is sponsored for our sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.
In addition to our physical education program, we offer the students the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports through the CYC (Catholic Youth Council) League. The CYC has sports programs including soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball for both boys and girls of all ages.
