What We Have Been Doing Around SJB!!!
Extra-Curricular
activities help the students with social skills and the
development of their interpersonal skills in relating with other
students
beyond their classroom. The following are some of the activities
that are available:
- Students participate in Student Council
- Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are offered to help your child
develop leadership skills while having fun with others
- Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students produce the school
newspaper
- Fifth through eighth graders are offered the opportunity to
develop their public speaking skills by competing in the Bellarmine Speech League
- Fifth through eight graders are given the opportunity to
participate in the annual St. Louis Post Dispatch spelling Bee
- Sixth through eighth grade students serve on the Safety
Patrol
- Students are given the opportunity and training to
participate in Peer Mediators
